Yea....I still got the bounty ($200)out on the first 50 lber weighed in.....its the biggest fish over 50 in the case we see two at one event. What Im not sure about is the hats to boost the championship fund...I dont know if there is enough interest to get new hats this year or not. I know folks budgets are tight this year and its just nice to get out and fish a tourney for alot of them. Im still thinking on that one.

Tomahawk has a good ideal on big fish of the year in our series. We can do a dollar pot and buy a nice plaque for the biggest fish weighed in for the year.

a dollar a head per tourney wouldn't be so bad and you could get a nice plaque and that would be something to hang up and remember. you shouldent have made such cool hats the first time lol

Im in for the dollar idea, we have cut back to working 4-10s, that leaves plenty of time for fishing, but not alot of time for spending money...lol

Thats the spirit gearhead...some of my best finishes have came when I wasnt exspecting it.....places I exspected to do good...didnt happen. Its the highs and lows of tourney fishing that I love. Some folks say...Im not fishing it because I havent found any fish...I have shared them thoughts myself to only do well in the tourney...prefish dont count.

P.S. if prefish did count this series would be all about tillery to me....lol. I love that place...but I also want to learn other places. Its the only way to grow....try new places.

I probably fish them both about the same amount . I fish by myself at Badin alot or with my cousin and Tillery is about a hour drive for me and a hour for my tournament partners coming from Moore county so its perfect for us to meet half way and fish there. I have had pre-fishing help me on occasion and hurt me some. I can't wait till the tournaments start . I like the day tournaments best . I be glad to start and get this night time Tucker Town tourney out of the way , But that one could get interesting. That place has been more like a light switch than any other I have fished lately. ON OFF ON OFF, Maybe thats just flathead fishing. Will see I quess.

Last year one time, I had the winning stringer the day before prefishing and nothing on tournament day. Prefishing is no good, especially if you're looking for the "honey" hole. It doesn't exist.....

Well i ain't got a track record, if I did it would probably be for most hours fished with no fish. I'm ready to get started though.

Hate to break the bad news, but I'm ain't going to be fishing the Tourney at TT. I'm heading to the beach next Friday to do a little fishing down there. I know Ol' Buck is heartbroken that I won't be there to show him how to fish but he'll survive. I'll make the next one if it don't interfere with my duck hunting!!! You guys have fun and stay safe!

I hate it, but John, Mac & I won't make the first tourney either. We'll be striper fishing in Tn. that weekend . Been putting some time in on TT lately too.

I don't know if there's a points fund booster planned this year, but if there is, some mastercatter T-shirts would be pretty damn cool. Just a thought.
