Bubba I hope your day was better than ours, we got our butts handed to us. Fished most of the day with only 1 ten lb fish to show for it. I think the Dream team caught a fish in the 20's. It was tough today, Hope it aint this skinny next saturday.

I caught one that was 21 lbs. Fish were biting until a bass boat ran directly over my baits. He went out of his way to deliberatly run over them. I was tempted to pull anchors and lines to go and give him a gesture of my appreciation.

put in at lilys bridge go across the lake and start easing up river . Look for shad in 30 to 40 feet of water and the perch will be under them. the first cove you come to is where i was catching them but i mark them be for i even got to the cove ..

We got to swift island around day break. They was a lot of shad in their but not with much size it was already getting light so we used what we had.Set up on the first spot and about 20 mins.later rod went down it was a 21.9 flathead. We moved to another spot and i got my new pb for a blue it was 30lb.My second pb blue in two weeks.Hope i can break this one in the tx.sat.We fished several more spots but only came up with a teen and four more smaller fish.We was in Leonards boat and he got a small eagle ff.And i could'nt find the perch.I really wanted to get into some of them but i just don't have the know how right now to find them.We left at 3:00 had a barbecue to go to but i had a pretty good day.

Congrats on the NPB blue , and flathead!! With the temps approaching 70 today , I believe anybody could have the shot at a nice one , depending on what the baitfish decide to do.
