Well Just got in...8:30 We fished all night and still only came up with a few Blues.

Noone that fishes everyday here has been able to land any big fish this month.

Bring them with you if you come here to Lake Wateree to claim a throphy right now.

Alot of channels up close to the banks.
Tadpoles seem to be their food of choice right now.

3 big Stripers dead on the main channel yesterday.A few caught right before the rain last night but nothing over 10lbs.Large live shad got them.Free line off planner bobber 8ft in 20+ ft water.

Bream and white perch are easy to get now...for later use I have about 200 now that we caught on worms.Some 3 at the time.


IF (Anyone) tells you the fishing is good is they are .


Well its not good but thats the story here.

Well got out of that ... went and traded in a clunker for 4500 bucks and got her a 2010 Toyota camery.

We spent a few hours at Montecillo,She out fished the heck out of me.

A nice 34lb blue.

Hope all is well with you all.

Well I wish I could show it,I sold the video.So I will not be able to show it,But I will let you know when and where.


Ok heading down to the lower end of the Lake tonight.

A friend has a spot he claims to have been pulling big blues from for two weeks.

I think he is telling a good one to me.But I will go see.Claims to be a baited hole,which I havent had much luck with that for Big Blues,I am sure they may come by but the amount of small ones make it hard to land a trophy blue around a Bait hole.
I have found that a big / injurered/ scared/deformed /Blue will hang around where there is alot of ez bait,Like where fish r cleaned / or old bait gets thrown.
Catching them arent much fun.Guess if you bait a hole LONg enough it may turn into a big fish hole,Alot of nasty work for me.

Hopefully I am wrong

Well...We didnt do anything special.a couple of 20lbers but nothing big.

Cedar creek tomorrow night with a party of 5.

The fog was heavy tonight in spots,got alot of bait for today,Diddt really fish but talked to two guys out there that had no luck on big ones

My luck stinks.Havent had a good video in a day r two,so last night was a great I mean one of the funniest and just a cool video of a wonderful couple from Columbia getting a couple nice fish,no monster by any means,but just the way the talked and had a ball made it one of my best.Edited it right there on the boat and was ready to post it,and the guy Mr X lol Said " I cant let you post that on the internet".

First thing came to me was I am in something that doesnt fell right.You know the felling,hole in stomach,drops falling down your side from sweat,Hair standing up on neck...you get the point.

I had a thousand reasons running around in my head when he said this inst my wife lol

Never know but it was a great all nighter on Lake Wateree.cold night if not for the cabin.

Ok Its offical...The lake has had too many Blues taken from it.

SCDNR guys had a sad report of the blue count.

Humm.Ok time to attack Lake Montecillo.

O never mind the tounies have already started.

Yo you cant take a 1000 lbs a month from a small Lake and hope to see trophy fish.

I got some info today,it seems they are only going to use a mintue of my video.

It will be on cable in a month or two I was told.

I will pass on more as I here it ...did get 400.00 for it,not much but It was a neat surprise.
