Yes there was some current. Under 2mph. That is slow for the Mississippi River.

How can you tell there was current from the picture?

All the blue on that white screen...I seen it before here in lakes when they had flood gates open. Turbulance on the screen. Thats good current for these man made lakes here...looking at the screen..Im not sure about the water speed here.
