Default Need help on electronics

OK Fellows my buddy at the pawn shop called me and said he had "a nice depth finder" for me to look at....I went down there and he has a lowrance lms-334c IGPS.....gps/fishfinder. I currently have a fishmark 320 Didnt know what some of your opinions are of the lowrance 334c....Thought I would ask

I didnt know if this would be a significant upgrade or just another decent depthfinder.

If I do get this 334 gps would my current transducer work with the new depthfinder?

Should be one hellavu upgrade for ya,,in its heyday it sold for 6/700 dollar range with some still out there over a thousand,,,it is however a discontinued model. your fish eagle transducer will not work with it, but new ones are availiable, you'll be gaining temp, speed, gps and map functions

the discontinued part is whats throwing me off...hard to research something online you cant find..

The pawn shop has it with a transducer and the box w/instructions....pending it working it ought to be nice.

I was just thinking if I could use the same transducer it would be nice.
