Lake Tillery Tourney results for Dec 6,2009

Started the day with light showers that came through out the day. Fishing was decent while most teams reported catching a few fish...just wasnt a big numbers day. We had 11 teams to make the event. $55.00 added to the championship fund. Paid out to the top three spots.

1st place/Big fish honors went to the dream team of catfishrus and Livebaiter with with 48.6 lbs ...big fish was 26.6lbs. Winning $165.00 for first and $55.00 for big fish.



2nd place went to team circle hook and his son with a weigh in weight of 40 lbs even. Winning $100



3rd place went to the trio team of Gearhead with a weight of 31 lbs even...this team missed big fish by .2 lbs. Winning $66.00



4th place to a up and coming new team with dedication...Team leatherneck with 25.2 lbs.




5th place went to Team rookie 12 and fisherhead with 22.2 lbs


6th place went to Jerry 9497 and beastmaster with 22lbs even


7th place went to team Buck, dipnet and Johnny Myers with 19.6 lbs
This team broke my camera..ugly!

8th Place went to a countryboy79. This young man has got a plan to be a good catfisherman...I watched him yesterday working different areas of the lake...hes got what it takes. I got a feeling if he had more knowledge of the lake..he would of been a contender. Thanks for coming out Wesley.




Thanks for coming out in the rain and fishing with us folks...it was a tuff day on numbers but there was several fish in the 20s caught....my team caught 3 fish all day...got lucky ..two was decent..other was a 3 lber. We caught one above 24/27 and one below 24/27 of the lake. Circle hook didnt catch a fish until 1.00 PM he reported...so the fish fed throughout the day...just had to find them...depths varied alot according to most anglers. Sorry for the delay here on the results.

Thank you folks...we enjoyed ourselves..got to be honest..it was a surprise for us to win. Wasnt on much prefishing...we took a gamble and went up river at blast off...that didnt pan out for us. Ended up catching our fish off two different spots that we had never anchored on...but I had caught fish drifting there before in the past.
