new feller...well sorta I reckon. I kinda fell off the map for awhile so those of ya that dont know me...names Kris Im from southern IN,been cattin for quit some time..anything else ya wanna know just ask.
see alot of familiar faces here. good to be home and look forward to hangin around a bit.

I'm a newbie here. Invited here by Steven #$@* (want say last name and don't know his user name) but he was gracious enough to invite me fishin' in another catfish discussion group and gave me a "heads up" on this group. Says you folks are the best! That remains to be seen. I'll post my address later to send money to.

Anywho, I grew up fishin' the Edisto River in Denmark, SC. My dad was a big fisherman and hunter so I was brought up right but I got out of it for to many decades. The biggest cat I've caught was 30lbs on a trot line just this side the Jacksonboro bridge in the lower part of SC. OK, "caught" might be the wrong word using a trot line. I did do some fishin' on Santee years ago before the weeds got so bad.

I'm a Disable American Veteran but am ambulatory (have all my fingers and toes) and don't require any special needs. I don't have and can't afford a boat and don't have any friends that fish other than bank fishin' so I'm out lookin' for someone that is lonesome and want's to take me fishin'. I'm willin' to travel and willin' to help *** expenses as I've had a "whole in the water" before and know it cost money to go fishin'. I have transportation (Ford Explorer) and can pull a boat (bumper hitch). I have no wife so day, night, overnight fishin' is just fine. And I could care less about "catchin'". Just to watch will be fine for me.

Not lookin' to "buy a friend", I have all those I need. This is an honest, straight forward request. No hidden agenda.

PS: I'll edit my avatar when I get a 50lb'er to hold up!

welcome aboard. yep its a pretty calm relaxed board with a little fun thrown in, you'll soon have a bunch of tarheels and gamecocks to go fishing with,,bunches of em here. Any ol picture of ya will do - we just like to put a face with the name when we can. Hey trotlines are fun and a great learning tool for stretches of water when used properly
