Post Dual powered portable bait tank

orginal post by flathead hunter

I made this baitkeep about 3 years ago and it is very handy. I have a hushbubbles with a donut airstone ( That produses much smaller bubbles). Also And also a bilge pump running to a homemade pvc spraybar. My pump is 500 gph, but would think a 360 gph would be fine. The wires for bilge pump and hose for hushbubbles are ran through the side of cooler near the top. I use a two wire quick connect on the bilge pump. Caution make sure you attach the female side of the plug to the hot wire from power source). I put a toggle switch in my truck to turn the pump on and off, & also put a two way switch into my boats livewell pump line, so it can be run from the timer in the boat
This setupis very handy and saves battery life. The hushbubbles is a very quiet unit. I have had bubbles & quiet bubbles both of which would drive you crazy they were so loud.I'm not well at explaining but hopfully you get the idea.
