Dan River reports

Took my son to Dan river last night we caught 2 flat heads 1 21.8 and 1 26.10 and my son lost a nice one that ran way down river came up and went back down and got wrapped up.

Well went back to Dan River last night didn't get started till 3am to a friend of mine 10 minutes I missed one then alittle while later another rod went off my friend hooked one and I was at the bank with net andhis staretd going towards another rod and that rod started clicking and finally I picked rod up and locked it down rod in one hand and net in the other and rod went down hard and I had one also, a guy next to us netted them for us 1 was 25 and one 24lb's, my friend caught another one 21 and I hooked 3 that hung me up but the last one I believe was the biggest fish I have ever had on, he was peeling the drag and I had it locked down pretty tight, he hung one time and came out and started peeling line again then he got hung again and this time I couldn't get him out.It was fun fighting him while it lasted,alot of hang ups in the river,but I will not give up lol.Hope this is ok to post about Dan River here. here is some pics of flats caught hope I'm doing this right

Well went back to the Dan River last night,it was slow compared to before, missed 1 before dark and we caught 2 right after dark 1 14lb and a 18lber and that was it, most of the time right at daybreak get several runs but nothing.still caught fish so it was a good night, well its a good night anytime you can fish weather you catch any or not.

Took my son to Dan River last night,he missed 3 I hooked 2 that got hung and missed 2 more good hits, he finally got 1 his pb which made the whole trip worth it, he was so exited,it weighed 32.2lbs

went back to Dan river last night my son caught 2 a 21.8lber and a 17lber as for me I caught nothing lol he also hung 2 others that got off.
