Default CreekHouse 3 for May

Lisa and I fished mainly during the day with a couple of short evening trips and we caught between 9 and 12 fish each day but nothing over 25lb's and Lisa said no pic's unless it was a big fish we were setting up a drift in shallow water she put out her bait pole and was helping me put out the drift poles when her bait pole bent over and started pulling drag I thought she had caught bottom but she said nope its a fish she has a pink ultalite uglystik with 10lb cajun red mono on it she fought it for about 10 min's and caught a 10lb carp it was an awesome battle I was proud of her she has learned a lot in the last 10 years or so My Buddy Swannie called he and a friend Chris were in Orlando picking up a new rescue squad for their County EMS and were coming right by the CreekHouse so I told them to stop by and spend the night Lisa had smoked some country ribs so when they got here we had an excellent dinner and headed out to take them fishing we setup and did some bait fishing and I setup up 1 short drift so that Chris could see how we do it the wind was howling so I set up close behind Green Island we had some live bream and perch out on the bottom in the shallows and cut bait out deeper we had 2 hard bites that showed up the learning curve on how to use circlehooks the 3rd hit was a 5lb channel that hit on cutbait and Chris had his first Santee cat we called it an early night cause they had to head out early but I think they had a nice time
