Cape Fear 1/30/12
Fished downtown today from about 1 till 4. Just fished one spot, ended up with 6 fish...3 over 20lbs with the biggest at 24lbs. Caught them from 2 or 3ft down to 25ft. Had a ton of quick releases
 Bunch of bites like I got the day before up at the dam (first skunking I've ever taken on that stretch of river ) Caught 2 on shiner, 2 on bream (never caught one downtown on bream before), and 2 on pickerel, not even a bite on shad. All but the biggest one came on carolina rigs, big one came on a double hook bottom rig....I know, I'm ashamed but the dang things have been working
