Default Cape Fear 1/1

Got the skunk out today!!

Nick and I fished for about 6.5 hours. Got a 24 and a 16 and 4 smaller fish. Nick had a dang monster on though. That fish hit and didn't stop pulling drag until he came loose. Dang hook doubled up in the bait Oh well, those big fish can only be so lucky.

Now I just gotta find some bait, used the last of my frozen stuff

Thats a good way to start off a new year......I started mine out with a busted tranny......( turned it a little to hard in the mud ). I'm looking forward to putting in some extra time this year on some water somewhere.

Well yesterday was a complete bust, at least as far as the fishing was concerned. The water temp had dropped 7* since the 1st. They certainly weren't where we left 'em. Got a couple bites deep and caught one about 1.5lbs on the eel rod. Couple of my toes were white for an hour after I got my boots off We'll get 'em next time though!!
