Entries must be received by 10:00 am – Saturday November 7, 2009, before lines are dropped.

Breakfast and Coffee will be provided at Captains Meeting. Meeting is not mandatory but all boaters will be responsible for all information covered.

Staring position is at Buster Boyd Landing by T- Bones at Lake Wylie River, Shotgun start at 8:00am

Weigh-In time is 4:00 pm. No fish will be weighed to those arriving after 4:00 pm, please allow enough time to arrive at boat landing by T-Bones prior to 4:00 pm.

Tournament will be held Rain or Shine.

RULES AND REGULATIONS
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY


1- Shotgun Start at 8:00, however you must have your 3 fish back at the boat landing, by T-Bones for weigh in before 4:00pm.
2- Fishing can be done from boat only.
3- All fish must be caught by conventional sporting method using a rod and reel. Netting, spearing or foul hooking is NOT permitted.
4- All boats must be safe and have their proper registration and contain the required US Coast Guard approved safety equipment.
5- Tournament fishing is open to All areas of Lake Wylie River.
6- Three catfish per person can be weighed in. You must catch the fish you are weighing in, only help you may receive during the process is landing the fish via landing net or by hand.
7- ALL fish can be dead or alive and live fish are encouraged to be released after weigh in.
8- If you have entered the Lunker Pool it is up to you to determine your heaviest fish. Your 3 fish will not be weighed individually. After your lunker is weighed the other 2 will be weighed and added for a total weight.
9- Anglers can only weigh in 1 time.

NOTE: Fish will not be weighed individually or measured. In the event of a tie the money will be split up evenly between those placeholders.

THE TOURAMENT JUDGES MAY PENALIZE OR DISQUALIFY AND ENTRANT FOR ANY VIOLATION OF THE TOURNAMENT RULES, STATE FISHING REGULATIONS OR UNSPORTSMAN LIKE CONDUCT. NO FEES WILL BE REFUNDED.

Any grievances must be made to the judge prior to 4:00 pm. The judges decision is final in all matters.

Your boats live well, tec., may be inspected either before or at anytime during the tournament.

THIS TOURNAMENT IS OPEN TO ANYONE OVER THE AGE OF 18, UNLESS ACCOMPAINED BY A RESPONSIBLE ADULT WITH THERE PARENTS PERMISSION IF UNDER THE AGE OF 18.

All money winners of this tournament will be submitted to a polygraph test if deemed necessary by the judges prior to collecting any winnings. Failure of this test will disqualify any anglers.

Having read and understanding all the rules, I hereby waive Boat Sales of Lake Wylie and it’s members and officers and other contestants of all claims of personal injury and property damage incurred by me while participating in this event, I have a clear understanding of all tournament rules by proof of my signature on the entry form.

It would be good to require all fish weighed in to be alive and released after being weighed. Especially blues and flatheads.

I suggested that but he was affraid it would scare off some people and he wants to draw a crowd. He did say that a polygraph might be administered.

Also there has been a change in the rules.... Its going to be a 3 fish per boat weight in.

Anybody fish this event saturday? how did it go?

Fishing was tough for some and good for others. Some guys caught 20+ fish while others struggled to get a limit. I think we ended up with 10 boats.
Top 3 boats were all CCC Members and Master Catters 2 members.
Dont know the exact weights

1st place went to Big Bird and Holmes and big fish . They had a 39lb flathead.
2nd palce went to Billfish76 and Matt with @23lbs
3rd place went to Bowlerman and Micheal with @19lbs

The guys from Boat Sales of Lake Wylie had a bunch of giveaway prizes for the weight in. They also had a good turnout to watch the weight in. They were happy with the way things went and said they will do more in the future helping to support the charity.

It was pretty good day. Glad we were lucky enough to get the kicker fish. We couldnt seem to find the blues-I dont think we got one all day.
I havent seen a crowd that big at a weigh in before. The spectators were real excited about watching the weigh in.
