All right James river boys show them off here!
This thread is for Big fish of the month for 2011 We will start this up from Jan1,2011. Fish must be caught with rod and reel only. Fish must be released in the same body of water it was caught from to apply. No *** lake fish!! You must post a picture of the fish with weight and tell what body of water it came from. It would also be informative if you list What type Rod/Reel/line weight. We doing this for fun and enjoyment for the honest fisherman. Should be a good friendly battle. We about to find out who will be the Virginia Big fish Mastercatter for 2011! No prizes. Good Luck! Jan- t-roy with a 59 lbr from The James Feb- jpritch with a 64.1 lb blue from the james Mar- olflathead with a 65 lb blue from the James Apr- jpritch with a 58 lb blue from the james May -vince with a 71.4 oz blue from the potomac Jun - vince with a 46.1 lb blue from the Potomac Jul - vince with a 51.3 lb blue from the Potomac Aug Sep Earl Steelberg with a57.2 Blue from the Potomac Oct Triple L with a 57 lb Blue from the Potomac Nov Dec Pictures must show the whole fish...head to tail including both ends on fish laying in the floor of a boat. Stand up pictures are okay as long as they are clear. NC put up some tuff numbers so post them if you get them Virginia. fellows lets try to use this method for posting pictures http://www.mastercatters2.com/showth...ures-1797.html This way they get saved in the gallery and the site dont loose them when someone removes them from photobucket. New this year in the spirit of seeing the Big Fish of every month We are adding a guide section. These are catfish that were caught on a guided trip. Lets see what the Captains can post, My bet is it will be some close competition just remember they are out there everyday working double duty to put a client on fish. This insures the members that we are seeing the biggest fish caught by the best fisherman in the state weather their a guide or sportsman. As Mastercatters and ODC and sportsman lets set the bar high for the guides! Jan- Get Slimed Fishing Charters with a 52 lb from the James Feb Mar Apr May Jun Jul Aug Sep Oct Nov Dec

Gloves and a net on my boat! My Hands get beat up enough from every day use, no need to put them through more torture with the wood rasp the big blues have for teeth!
I will have to get in this competition if I can land a fish this year
