Big Fish of the month 2011 from South Carolina

This thread is for Big fish of the month for 2011
We will start this up from Jan1,2011. Fish must be caught with rod and reel only. Fish must be released in the same body of water it was caught from to apply. No *** lake fish!! You must post a picture of the fish with weight and tell what body of water it came from. It would also be informative if you list What type Rod/Reel/line weight. We doing this for fun and enjoyment for the honest fisherman. Should be a good friendly battle. We about to find out who will be the South Carolina Big fish Mastercatter for 2011! No prizes. Good Luck!

Feb Wyliecat with a 52 lb from Lake Wylie
Mar Wyliecat with a 30 lbr from lake Wylie
Apr Doug158 with a 45 lb blue form Lake Marion
May - RiverRatSC with a 42 lbr from Santee

Jul - Bruce Edmunds with a 48.8 Blue from Monticello

Nov Wyliecat with a 46 lb Blue from Lake Wylie

Pictures must show the whole fish...head to tail including both ends on fish laying in the floor of a boat. Stand up pictures are okay as long as they are clear. 2010 average was 46.91 lbs but no winner for aug, sept or nov. Big fish goes to Wyliecat and his December 61.5 blue Congrats Wyliecat
NC put up some tuff numbers so post them if you get them South Carolina

I will add that Santee Cooper is a different animal when it comes to catfishing. Alot of guided trips where most fish are kept. If your a guide and your client wants to keep their fish, go ahead and post it and we will denote it was a guided trip. The object of Big fish of the month is to see the monsters so show what you got, aint no guide going to beat the local boys anyway good luck to all

Well I wouldnt gone bother with this little fish but since nobody is putting anything up heres a 34 lbr I got the 1st of this month. Thats the 1st big fish I've got to personally reel in in ages.

Plenty big enough for this weather. I get it up in just a little bit

Not that it really matters but it was caught on Monticello. Actually I guess it does in case somebody wanted to look back and see which lake had the most big fish.

I will get the ball rolling for March with a 30 pounder from Lake Wylie that was caught yesterday.

It won't last long and it should give someone a good feeling when they knock me off!! LOL!!
