Default Big fish of the month from North Carolina 2009
Alright guys/gals lets see what you got in 2009. This thread will be for big fish of the month from all across North Carolina for 2009. We will start this up Jan1,2009. Fish must be caught with rod and reel only. Fish must be released in the same body of water it was caught from to apply. No pay lake fish!! You must post a picture of the fish with weight and tell what body of water it came from. We doing this for fun and enjoyment for the mostly honest fisherman out there. The challenge is out to all of NC in 2009! Will the Yadkin Mafia rule over the entire state for 2009? Or will we see another area rule over NC in 2009? Should be a good friendly battle. We about to find out who will be the North Carolina Big fish Mastercatter for 2009! No prizes...just bragging rights you can put on your signature later on. Good Luck!

Jan..........Tomahawk wins Jan with a 48.2lb blue cat from badin.
Feb..........Catfishrus with a 52 lb blue from lake Tillery
Mar.........Jerry9497 with a 56lber from Badin lake
Apr..........Livebaiter with a 64lb blue from badin
May........Bowler Man with a 67lb 11oz Lake Wylie blue
June........Livebaiter with a 48.11 flathead from badin.
July.........Bertha Mae Manning with a 41 lb blue from lake Wylie
Aug.........livebaiter with a 51 lb blue from Tillery
Sept.......catfishhunter2009 with a 64.6 lbs flathead from the cape fear river
Oct........Rookie12 with a 53 lb flathead from badin lake.
Nov.......Livebaiter with a 71 lb blue from badin lake.
Dec.......Allen Long with a 72 lb badin lake blue leading.

Where is your name at?

PS...you can shake the scales but only twice....three times and you cheating!

well wes and i tried to give y,all boys up there something to shoot at ,but i dont think 12 & 14 lbs will last long but at least we started the year off catching fish we,ll shoot for weight next trip

Back in the saddle again..... 42lbs 8ozs caught today at lake Tillery. No steel trap here....nice and prurdy.
