Banned so soon?

I tried to post in the electronics forum. It would not allow it to go through. I was directed to a page that said I've been banned. Maybe someone can explain. I figure its a glitch, but if I'm not welcome here, thats cool too. Max

CatMax I checked your status and it says you are a "new member" not a banned one. Something must have happened when you were submitting the thread in the electronics section. Try again and see if it will go through.

If I'm not logged in and try to post it tells me I'm banned. never had trouble other than that

I have written a reply and it took so long (watching the kids @ the same time) that it has done that to me as well. Highlight and copy before you hit the submit button, it's cheap insurance against that.

Sounds to me , like there is a "time out" setting somewhere in the system that, needs to be reset!!

Sorry I was a little slow in responding to this Maxx, I was across the state to spend a little time with my mother while she is in the hospital. I checked your account settings and everything "looked" ok, but with a big board and several members the server sometimes gets a little behind refreshing everything,,,everything looks good and your not banned so welcome aboard and if ya have any troube just let us know

LOL! I got a "banned" notice on a post night before last, and I asked myself, what in the hell I had said to someone. Came to realize that for some reason, I was not logged in.

Ok, I got off my butt and fixed the banned msg for "non logged in" users.

You shouldn't see it anymore.

I dont know what was going on. I would be logged in, I could type my 2 cents, and when I would preview my post thats when it would tell me I was banned. Everything seems to be working fine now. Thanks
