Badin Lake tourney results for 11/7/2009

Way to get it done "Team Buck." Mike, is this the lowest weight to win one of these events? I was shocked not one 10lb fish was caught. Thanks for the work putting these together, I really enjoy fishing with ya'll. We caught 8 or 9 fish total, and missed about that many with all the short strikes. We had 2 good pull downs that came unbuttoned that could have made us at least competetive. Sure is one tough lake at times.

Thanks all for letting me chase you around the pond again. All the photos are posted... my apologies for not getting them up sooner. The service we use was having fits once again. Ggrrrrr. Got them up very early this AM.

Horrible fog on Tillery Sunday... had to feel my way around with a long pole once again. Scary when you hear a motor coming at you flat out. How do they know where they're going? I hugged the bank until she asked me for a date!

Katsandsuds...yes this was our worst weigh in from the beginning. I seen days before I hoped for a bad weigh in...to only get humbled at the weigh in. Either way though...we had some great fisherman on the water. Usually one or two teams at badin will get some nice blues....thats fishing. Buck and Johnny beat the best of the best on saturday...reguardless of weight.

Catfishphil...you fellows get them deer in the freezer and come fish with us in Dec. at Tillery. I walked across the yard yesterday and jumped what sounded like a buck in a thicket(horns hitting limbs). I just turned around and walked back to the house. Last night I was about ready to kill my dang bull dog...he was raising cain at something...I feel sure there was deer running around in the yard. I looked this morning but nothing but a sleepy dog in the yard. He better not let me catch him one morning. Outside of that..I will be fishing.

I used to look forward to bad days because then I could be competitive
I think the first year after I bought place there I only caught channel cats. was getting pretty good at'em.

It's sad that my channel cats were bigger than my blues on Sat. haha and yes Phil the weight is right, it officially was one of my toughest days on the water, but we worked hard for what we had. I'm hoping for some triple digits at Tillery from somebody to make up for this one.....

I dont want to hear it...gearhead whipped the whole field last year with a 14 ft Jon boat with a 25 hp on it. Matter fact... thats him behind you in that picture. I can read his mind too..."I sure hope they didnt do worth a flip either."

atleast I got Badin to myself again, tournements are fun but I'm here for the big fishes. I'll keep prefishing Badin and let them catch them nickle and dime fish at tillery
