Well maybe we can see the flatheads rule on this event...the past two years we had stormy weather. Personally I think its hurt the flathead fishing in those events....flatheads are picky! I know they is good enough flatheads in santee to win this event but more than likely blues will rule over it. We will see...I need to be calling blacks for a room I reckon. Doug you might get that ice cream I promised you 2 years ago.

Personally, that's what I'm going for are the flatheads. It being awefully windy last time caused me not to make it into my honey hole but this time I hope there's no wind. LOL!

I said I was going but I havnt done anything to make it happen yet so not sure yet. I was hoping I'd be looking at a boat by now but it stays just out of reach I do know I'm not taking the toon without a new trailer. Omar you fishing your toon?

Yep, I'm fishing in my pontoon.

If you're looking for a new pontoon trailer, try looking at the Tennessee trailers. They are real good trailers. We got a 28ft Riviera Cruiser pontoon and the Tennesse Trailer cost like $1600.00 new and a smaller one would probably be even cheaper.

I'm pondering on this one pretty hard.

My biggest concern was if I book a room at Blacks and come tourny time I didnt have the funds to do it that I would be out of the room cost and not be able to do the tourny on top of it.

So, I made a call to Blacks and they said as long as you cancel 7 days before the reserve date that you want be charged so that made things a little easier.They also said that theres still several rooms but they are getting alot of calls and alot of them are about the same question I had.

Just figured I would put this up in case somebody else was in the same situation I was.

Yep she told me the same thing when I book Chris....Im coming for sure though....I just hoping for good weather. Omar is carrying a rain cloud around with him this year.
