First of all congratulations to all of you!

Gearhead I see you pulled through as the big winner...never any doubts huh?
I have learned alot from you guys this season and one thing I feel sure we have all learned is how to be humble and how to get humbled... But through i all Gearhead pulled through and was consistent through the series and all the hard work payed off! Great job man

Thanks Mike for the series...

All I can say is I am one lucky SOB. I had a lot of fun fishing this season with everyone. I was able to make 3 tourneys. Hopefully next season I can make more. It was about 12 to 12:30 when we caught that 43 pounder. Jerry had one of his corks/floats set to about 20 ft. We anchored over a ridge which dropped off to 40 ft. In front of the boat about 100 ft was a hole about 48 ft deep. I tried to position the floats over that hole. After a hour there the cork shot down and then about ripped the front pontoon rod holder off... I couldn't move fast enough. We were using two shad heads on a 8/0 circle set 20 ft down on 25lb test. Jerry had a good point. The cats right now are swimming in the thermoclines looking for food. We diffently won one for Bob. I had a blood rig in ever spot we stopped or drifted but nothing hit it. Cant wait till next season. I will be fishing as much as I can this summer and will hopefully see you all on the water...

I hated to see the series end. I really enjoyed fishing w/such a great group of fisherman. Hats off to you Jeremy, you earned it. Thanks Mike for such a great series. Cheers
