2 for $10..lake Tillery 1/26/2012

Dream team took home first place today over Team fishbite rod holders. We started as planned...and met Logjam at the store before daylight..launched at the same time and headed out for bait. Found bait and off to the catfish grounds we went. I told livebaiter..we need to cover new grounds..areas that hadnt been producing for him. I need to find me a spot for the up coming tourney next weekend. So we focused on new stuff or old stuff he hadnt been fishing. The bite wasnt great at hole number one..in fact we never had a bite there. So we moved to hole number two...2 blues and channel cat there..so we now culling. Moved to hole 3 which looked promising on the graph... wait wasnt long and fish on. Pretty good fish..33 lber. Then Buck called..I got to throw him in the floor this time...12 lber. That spot died out and on to hole 4...marked a few good fish there..not alot but a few that I like to look for. Anchored up...waited 30 minutes or so nothing....another 15 minutes goes by..I seen the line take off on a rod. I set the hook..drag peeled off...good one but he came up pluged. Livebaiter said tighten up the drag..I check it...handed it to him..pull this drag...he couldnt pull it..LOL. It was a pretty good fish..owell didnt get him. 20 more minutes and rod starts to fold...got him...36 lbs. So we ended the day with 69 lbs for two fish. Just enough to win the $10 pledge bewteen Logjam and I. Good to be back on the water..I hadnt been fishing since last May at highrock and the boat ran great.

That's 2 goodens right there fellas.70# 2 fish will win about any tournament. And I finished 2 nd with 8# TWO FISH....I would say that I was holding out...but I wasn't that at funny.

Jeff we done went big time now...we got to have $10 at least to cover the $100 worth a gas. Otherwise we loose money.

Buck called me today ..wanting information...LOL. He said how you doing out there?..I said not too good. He said how many have you caught I said enough to beat you with...one. then he said let me talk to livebaiter...I handed the phone to eric and said here...Buck is wanting some second hand information now.

Livebaiter told the watress at waffle house this morning he had gas and wanted to know if she had anything for it....LOL. Funny part was she came back and said she wished she could help him because she had gas too!

I sure didnt know my stuff today, fish down right humiliated me . When we got home my wife asked how it went, I told her not to good, fish weren't bitin and my partner sleep through the whole morning, he looked up at me and said...well its not like I missed anything .
