My friend Squirrel made his annual after Christmas trip from Tn. to visit and fish. We put the boat in at 6 on Sat. and caught bait quickly. We started fishing and quickly got a dink in the boat then this one
a few more dinks and the wind picked up and we strapped everything down and made a run to find shelter. Ended up fishing wood structure in 60' and rods dropped for a couple hours. I even got to reel a few in when we hooked up with doubles but, only one picture worthy ![]() After a party at our good friends house last night we god a little sleep and were back on the water at 10. Once again bait was easy with 10 in a 10 minute soak. We sat on one spot all day and had 7 good take downs with 6 of them missed and the seventh one breaking the line. We had a great day fishing but not so good catching. Only 3 teens - twenty's in the boat. I guess all of my luck got used up when we put the boat in the water. While waiting on Squirrel to get back from parking the truck I couldn't remember if I put the plug in so I looked in the back of the boat and no water was coming in. When I went to pull the plug after getting the boat out of the water it just fell out as soon as I touched it. The plug hangs from the grain hole by a piece of plastic and just happened to hit the hole right when the pressure from the water pushed the plug in since I obviously didn't screw it in  That is the first time I have ever forgot to put the plug in a boat and will hopefully be the last. At least I got lucky with it this time!

I have had it for almost a year now... '97 20' Javelin bass boat with a 200hp Johnson. I still have the Sea Ray too.
