Default 11/18 James River

My wife and I got to JP around 9 this morning and got the boat in the water then proceeded to catch bait. We got 10 cutters in a 10 minute soak and let 4 of the smallest ones go to catch another day. Fished the first spot and had a couple okay take downs but nothing impressive and no fish hooked up with. The second spot started off with one in the 20's then a long break before hooking up again. I'm not totally sure of the weight since my scales puked on me but I am guessing around 55#. We hit one more spot after the tide change and had a good take down but the line went limp before my wife could grab the rod. Bait was caught in 3' of water with temps around 58 and the two fish were caught in 30' with temps around 55.
